The Life of Paul Rader,
Christian Radio Pioneer

Return to the early days of radio broadcasting in this one-hour oral history documentary and meet one of the first religious radio pioneers: Paul Rader.

This once cowboy, pugilist, football star, pastor, and sawdust trail evangelist caught a vision for using mass media to reach the world for Christ. His first radio broadcast on June 3, 1922 paved the way that would forever change the radio landscape and how the church saw its mission to reach the masses with the Gospel.

Featuring newly discovered audio recordings, rarely seen historical photographs and interviews with some of those who knew him best; discover one of the forgotten heroes of faith­Paul Rader, Christian Radio Pioneer.
