Truth:
Just about everyone will give lip-service to this principle. Yet this value seems to have the most "asterisks" by its practicality in our lives as media producers. There seem to be a hundred reasons why the truth can be easily discarded.
One of the things that set Jesus apart from the religious leaders of his day was his claim of truth. As you read through the Gospels, more than 70 times we find Jesus beginning his teaching with the words "I tell you the truth..."
Unfortunately, many Christians have given truth a bad name for how its communicated. Ephesians 4:15 reminds us that we must "speak the truth in love." Too often we treat truth as an object, when it needs to be a state of being.
